This work table was created for a designer. The gently rounded top gives people flexibility in their thinking when working at a desk, and allows for the possibility of manual labor. The triangular legs, which symbolize the power of the earth, support firm willpower and decisiveness, and fulfill their function as a work table. The contrast between the combined legs balances the weight of the top, giving it a sculptural presence. The beautifully polished flat surface and the accidental unevenness created by hand create a balanced contrast of textures.

The material was cut out of polystyrene foam with a hot wire, glued together, and then coated with FRP resin.
